Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Financial Terms

 

We calculate the applicable prices on the date of quotation, such prices being in RAND (ZAR) unless otherwise stipulated. Unless special terms are agreed, the prices should be understood to be prices ex works, with no deduction or discount being granted for immediate payment.

If payment deadlines are not met in the 30-day period, this will automatically give rise to all of the statutory consequences of default, without any special reminder being required. All quotations older than 30 days will be removed from the system. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that a payment is made before the stipulated deadline.

To plan time for your tattoo Inferno Tattoos, need a deposit payment that will act also as a booing fee.

It takes time and preparation to get everything ready for the session and because of last minute cancellations we cannot afford to waste time and consumables. 

By paying the deposit/booking fee you automatically agree to what is laid out in this statement. This statement acts as a terms and conditions for our work together. The amount of this deposit/booking fee is variable depending on the project. The deposit/booking fee will be deducted from the project.

Deposits/booking fees are non-refundable so plan well before placing any money into our account.

Please always communicate any delay or other event that interferes with your appointment with Inferno Tattoos as soon as possible so we can accommodate your situation to our best ability.

Inferno Tattoos don’t charge for digital \sketch designs unless we have to do unusual redrawing due to problems that we didn’t cause or the time it may take to design a certain piece. If we don’t end up tattooing because we can’t agree on a design, we will keep the deposit or appropriate part thereof as a design fee.

In the case of custom-made products, we reserve the right to increase the price by a reasonable amount and to deviate to a reasonable extent from the agreed quantity. The Customer can take delivery of surplus quantities.

 

Electronic communications

 

When a client visits https://InfernoTattoos.co.za or sends e-mails to @infernotattoos.co.za, that client consents to receiving communications from the Inferno Tattoos team electronically. The client agrees that electronic communication be treated as if ‘written’, and satisfies all legal requirements as if ‘written’.

Working Terms

 

Inferno Tattoos will treat you with all our trust, patience and respect if you are willing to do the same for us.

Work on your design starts after we agree upon wants and needs, as well as potential outcomes and scheduling considerations. Any critique or input happens face to face at the times reserved for your project, only. Inferno Tattoos will not take critiques over social media or phone / text.

You will have plenty of influence on your project during the design period (more than is usual) and we won’t start anything without your consent.

Trust is an important aspect of our work. We trust you to care for your tattoo/piercing and show up on the agreed upon times, you trust us to do quality work.

Inferno Tattoos won’t make any changes to anything we agreed upon without consulting you unless you have explicitly given us this kind of creative freedom. We will do our best to explain our choices to you and ensure that you feel educated in the decisions being made.

If you suggest changes mid-project, we are not comfortable with for aesthetic or other reasons, we reserve the right to finish our work as planned (if possible) before implementing those changes to avoid regrets on both sides.

Of course, our main goal is to finish the project to YOUR satisfaction, but your trust and patience is necessary for our work together.

To protect our privacy and creative freedom, we reserve the right to pause or terminate the project should working with you become intolerable due to your neglect of any of the points in these Terms and Conditions.

You acknowledge by signing the agreement that you have been given the full opportunity to ask all questions which you might have about the obtaining of a tattoo/piercing and that all your questions have been answered to your full satisfaction. You specifically acknowledge to have been advised of the facts and matters set forth below and agree as follows:

If You have any condition that might affect the healing of the tattoo/piercing, you will advise us. You are not pregnant or nursing. You are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

You do not have medical or skin conditions such as but not limited to: acne, scarring (Keloid) eczema, psoriasis, freckles, moles or sunburn in the area to be tattooed/pierced that may interfere with said tattoo/piercing. If you have any type of infection or rash anywhere on your body, you will advise us.

You acknowledge it is not reasonably possible for us to determine whether you might have an allergic reaction to the pigments or processes used in your tattoo, and you agree to accept the risk that such a reaction is possible.

You acknowledge that infection is always possible as a result of the obtaining of a tattoo/piercing, particularly in the event that you do not take proper care of your tattoo/piercing. We do take pride in our clean and sterilised environment that you can trust. You have received aftercare instructions and agree to follow them while your tattoo/piercing is healing. You agree that any touch-up work or re-piercing needed, due to your own negligence, will be done at your own expense.

You realise that variations in colour and design may exist between any tattoo as selected by you and as ultimately applied to your body. You understand that variations in the appearance of the colour of your tattoo are possible depending on the colour and condition of your skin.

You understand that if you have any skin treatments, laser hair removal, plastic surgery or other skin altering procedures, it may result in adverse changes to your tattoo.

You acknowledge that a tattoo is a permanent change to your appearance and that no representations have been made to you as to the ability to later change or remove your tattoo. To your knowledge, you do not have a physical, mental or medical impairment or disability which might affect your well-being as a direct or indirect result of your decision to have a tattoo.

You acknowledge to be over the age of eighteen and that you have truthfully represented to your Tattoo Artist that the obtaining of a tattoo is by your choice alone. You consent to the application of the tattoo and to any actions or conduct for the procedure.
